From the household notebook

“Beta, Dadima ka rule hai — khaana khaane ke baad chaas zaroor piyo. Dahi mein jo good bacteria hote hain na, woh tumhare pet ke garden ko healthy rakhte hain. Aur jeera aur hing — yeh dono gas ke dushman hain!”

Dadima’s tip: Chaas ROOM TEMPERATURE pe piyo — fridge se nikaal ke mat piyo. Thanda chaas mein bacteria sote rehte hain, room temp pe active rehte hain. Aur haan, fresh dahi se banao — baasi dahi se acidity hoti hai.
